A wave of dismissals followed. After coup attempt the situation escalated further. Meanwhile more than 6.400 higher education personal ordered to be dismissed, as well 123.000 state officials. <\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>Nuriye G\u00fclmen and Semih \u00d6zak\u00e7a have been in hungerstrike against the dismissals since 60 days. <\/p>\n<p>Members of Academic for peace living in Germany declare their solidarity with both by organizing a hungerstrike on<strong> 7 May at Domplatte Cologne and on 14 May at Pariser Platz Berlin Brandenburg<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>As Network of Kurdish Academics we declare our solidarity with academics for peace and call upon to support this action. <\/p>\n<p>Kurtd-Akad<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Solidarity with hugerstrike of Academic for Peace members in Germany Last year academics in Turkey positioned themselves by a declaration against war.
