Board meetings<\/strong> Regional meetings<\/strong> Homepage<\/strong> Conference of experts<\/strong> Conferences<\/strong> One board member is included in the planning of conference held by EUTCC every year in European Parliament which will take place on 7-8 December 2016 in Brussels. For the first time a Kurdish translation will be available at the conference, organized by our members. <\/p>\n The III Conference of Network for an Alternative Quest is also being planned.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n Event in cooperation<\/strong><\/p>\n We organized in cooperation with German Trade Union DGB Dortmund, Volkshochschule (Adult education centre) and Auslandsgesellschaft NRW\u00a0 an information event on refugee issues under the title \u201cWe can make it\u201d. Speakers were Dr. Kenan Engin, Research Institute on Migration in Bonn, and Heike Geisweid, lawyer and board member of Association of Democracy and International Law. <\/p>\n Next event in cooperation is scheduled to take place on November 3 with the title \u201cEU, Turkey and the refugee issues \u2013 What does the EU stand for?\u201d. <\/p>\n Workshops<\/strong><\/p>\n Kurd-Akad is planning workshop on different topics as intensifying an academic discussion on Kurdish issues, migration and political participation of Kurds in Germany. The first successful workshop on scientific issues was held on October 1 in Bonn. Follow-up workshops are already in planning. <\/p>\n Kurd Akad Switzerland<\/strong><\/p>\n After our successful excursion to Switzerland in May 2016 a second meeting with Kurdish academics took place. At this we could give important impulses for organization of Kurdish academics in Switzerland. A working group was established which will concentrate in details on this intensions. <\/p>\n Soft skills Seminar<\/strong><\/p>\n In coming quarter we offer a soft skill seminar about \u201cEffective use of social media\u201d. The seminar will be held on November 26 at bureau of Democratic Society Centre of Kurds (registered association), Neustr. 38, 40214 D\u00fcsseldorf. Application formalities were announced by mail. <\/p>\n Excursion to Berlin<\/strong><\/p>\n We are pleased to offer you a winter excursion to Berlin. This year\u00b4s destination is Berlin. The journey will be held from 10 to 11 December. The announcement including an application form was made by mail some days before. During the last quarter we hold our board meeting on September 11\u00a0 in Siegen. <\/p>\n
The regional meetings in Westfalen took place regularly every first Friday of month and will continue as usual.
Regional meetings in D\u00fcsseldorf took place every last Thursday of month. Variations are reserved and will be announced by mail.
There were also hold two productive regional meetings in Hamburg.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
Because of malicious code our homepage will be relaunched currently. We will inform you as soon as work is completed. <\/p>\n
Planning of our next conference in January 2017 continues. We will inform you once we have concrete information. <\/p>\n
After a successful first conference in Frankfurt in February 2017 we decided for a continuation of a annual conference in Frankfurt. Next conference will be held on February 4. Further information will be published on our homepage in time. <\/p>\n
