Board meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The meetings took place on November 1 and December 18. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 2nd Conference of Kurdish Doctors and allied professions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This conference was held on October 15 in Cologne. Topics were Covid-19 Update, health and diaspora, gender medicine and heart diseases. A heart catheterisation from Rojava was broadcast live. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Physicians meetings in the context of chemical weapons and Prof. \u015eebnem Korur-Fincanc\u0131 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Since the records of Kurdish fighters have been published our physicians held meetings in cooperation with KCDK-E health committee’s physicians every two weeks. Numerous statements from doctors‘ organisations, medical associations and trade unions have been initiated. Talks with political officials have also been on the agenda. A postcard campaign for Prof. Korur-Fincanc\u0131 is underway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Chemical weapons and the systematic of warfare in Kurdistan <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n On November 8 we held an online panel debate in cooperation with Civaka Azad. Dr. Beppe Savary-Borioli, Dr. Jan van Aken and our co-chair were speakers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Cooperation with the Aachen Peace Prize<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n On December 20 an online panel debate entitled ‚Turkey and the case of Prof. \u015eebnem Korur-Fincanc\u0131: Human Rights behind bars‘ took place. Eren Keskin, Prof. Frank Ulrich Montgomery and our co-chair were speakers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n EmPOWERing ANTI-racism<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 19.10: Dynamics of radicalisation in Germany – Yannick von Lautz <\/p>\n\n\n\n 22.11: Deradicalisation: concepts, competences, communication – Prof. Dr. Jan \u0130lhan K\u0131z\u0131lhan<\/p>\n\n\n\n 14.12: Criticism of racism in pedagogical fields – Prof. Dr. Emra \u0130lg\u00fcn-Birhimeo\u011flu<\/p>\n\n\n\n 21.12: Democracy beyond statehood- Dr. Dilar Dirik <\/p>\n\n\n\n Science Caf\u00e9 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Our new event format: Kurd-Akad Science Caf\u00e9 – Science meets practice: from controversies to solutions. We discuss big issues in small groups. Different views meet. Exciting debates arise. Approaches to solutions are generated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The first event took place on October 25. Together with Kurdish politician Adem Uzun and political scientist Dr. Veysi Da\u011f we discussed about „The Kurdish Community outside Kurdistan: Diaspora – Problem vs. Perspective“. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Network meeting of Kurdish institutes and academic organisations <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The 4th Pan-european network meeting of Kurdish institutes and academic organisations was held on December 11. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Funding programme for the publication of the dissertation <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr. Sakar Saber \u0130brahim received this half years funding. Congratulations!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Science and Young Talent Award <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Science Awards goes to xxx, the young talent award to.
