Board meetings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The board meetings took place on 30 April, 18 May and 12 June 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Editorial work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Our edited book „Doubly Invisible: Inner-Migrant Racism in Germany and the Organised Turkish Right“ has been published. The book launch was held 9 June 2024 at the Gorki Theatre in Berlin. A podcast series on the book chapters has also been launched. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Panel debate <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n On 16 April 2020, a panel debate entitled „Kurdistan Region of Iraq hub: global influences, regional conflicts and future prospects“ took place online. Speakers were Dastan Jasim, political scientist, Nil\u00fcfer Ko\u00e7, Kurdistan National Congress, J\u00fcrgen Klute, former MEP, and \u00d6gmundur J\u00f3nasson, former Minister of the Interior and Justice of Iceland. The panel discussion is available on our YouTube channel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Scientific Advisory Board <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n A meeting of the Scientific Advisory Board was held on 29 April 2024. There were many new impulses for the work of our network. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Dialogue event with the universities of Rojava <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n On 16 May 2020, an online event took place in cooperation with the Center for Solidarity and Cooperation with Alternative Universities and the universities of Rojava. We gave a presentation entitled ‚Academia & Activism: Incompatible?‘ The meetings to expand the cooperation will be continued. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Podcasts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The first topic-specific podcast series has started. The recordings for another series have also begun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Social media<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Instagram Live Talks Tea Time and Edition Rojava have been continued. Both formats will have a summer break in the coming weeks.
