Board meetings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Board meetings were held on 08.07, 12.08 and 10.09.2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Kurd-Akad 2.0 – Time for renewal <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Intergenerational strength for the future – exchange with experience<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n As part of Kurd-Akad 2.0 – Time for Renewal, we exchanged ideas with people who have valuable experience in the social and political sphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Strengthen public relations – Exchange with politicians <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n As part of Kurd-Akad 2.0 – Time for Renewal, we met with former HDP MPs who are very experienced in diplomacy and public relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Utilise positions and professions – Exchange with our professors <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n As part of Kurd-Akad 2.0 \u2013 Time for Renewal, we met yesterday with three members who hold professorships and who gave us important impulses for our renewal process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Peace and a democratic society <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n On 13 July 2025, we held a symposium entitled \u2018The process towards peace and a democratic society: risks, benefits and prospects\u2019. We evaluated the various phases of dialogue in Turkey and the current process, citing Sri Lanka, Colombia and the Basque Country as examples of other countries. Participants included stakeholders from politics, civil society, academia and the media. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 7th pan-European networking meeting of Kurdish institutes and academic organisations <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This year’s meeting was dedicated to the topic \u2018re-Connect: Rethinking Diplomacy<\/p>\n\n\n\n Academic responsibility & perspectives in the peace policy context\u2019. Participants included among others the Kurdish Institutes of Germany and Sweden, the Association of Kurdish Engineers and Architects, the Association of Parents from Kurdistan and the Association for Democracy and International Law. The Community of Kurdish University Groups was also in attendance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Lausanne Conference<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n An online event on this topic was held again this year.
