Board meetings
The board meetings took place on 10 January, 22 February and 27 March 2024.

Symposium NRW
On 20 January 2024 we held our annual conference entitled ‘Elections in Turkey: hope(lessness)’ in cooperation with the Volkshochschule Cologne and the Kurdish Center for Public Relations.

Conference in Berlin
On 1 and 2 March 2024, our conference ‘Rethinking the World: Challenges, Transitions and Kurdish Perspectives’, organised in cooperation with Civaka Azad, took place in Berlin.

Cooperation with the Amadeu Antonio Foundation
We are continuing our cooperation with the Amadeu Antonio Foundation on the topic of ‘Doubly invisible: Inner-migrant racism in Germany and the organised Turkish right’.

Doctors’ working group
Following the attacks by the Turkish army on healthcare facilities in Kobane, we discussed the legal background with lawyers. We also sent letters to all members of the Bundestag’s Foreign Affairs Committee and Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid Committee, most recently on the occasion of the report by the Bundestag’s scientific service.

Social media
Our live talks on Instagram from the Tea Time series with the Kurd-Akad community took place again this quarter. The Rojava edition complements our live talks.

Podcasts
We will be publish our first podcast series in the next quarter.
